Dan has recently completed training meaning he is now a member of the Elmhurst Overheating Competency Scheme to undertake Dynamic Thermal Modelling assessments under Part O of the Building Regulations. This will give us greater design flexibility as it allows us to design out overheating risk whilst maintaining our design intent for glazing facades.

He is also now a member of the Elmhurst Psi Value Competency Scheme. This is for the thermal calculation of a junction between building elements to be calculated and then input into a SAP calculation i.e. the wall to floor junction. This gives us design flexibility to provide bespoke construction details rather than being restricted to the generic details provided by manufacturers.
